My Story

My story starts with humble beginnings while attending John Marshall High in Cleveland, Ohio.  I was a Lawyerette (a high stepper for our basketball team).  I started working for a banking institution while in the 11th grade.  I was a secretary in the personnel department (you can tell that was a long while ago as personnel has evolved to Human Resources and even more recent as People & Culture Operations/Management.  I have seen the advent of this old but new and exciting paradigm change with the decades.

From the bank I went on to work at various establishments and organizations - Thorn International, Wyndham/Hilton Hotels, Cleveland Clinic, CGI, City of East Cleveland, Applied Industrial Technologies, Huntington National Bank, Cuyahoga County, Lorain County Community Action Agency, the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland.  I worked for several companies as a contractor while completing my first Masters degree.  I am a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace University where I majored in Psychology and double majored in HR Management.  I then went to the University of Akron and obtained a traditional education for my Masters in Public Administration with a specialization in non-profit management.  I then then attended Ashland University (100% online) and obtained a Masters in Education with a specialization in Adult Education & Leadership.  I will also mention that I was two classes away from a Masters in Teaching & Training Technical Professionals at the University of Akron, however for technical reasons I was unable to finish that graduate degree.

In addition, to the information in the "hello" section of my intro which I will not reiterate, but I proudly stress that I have strong success introducing process improvements and change management, coordination for annual benefit enrollment, consulting management for labor relations, hearing officer, sound decision making ability, hearing of union and non-union grievance issues, training and development, engaging adult facilitator, staff development initiatives driving corporate goal attainment, on-boarding process to corporate policies and procedures.  Expert communicator with the ability to resolve conflicts and win employee report.
